Etyen

My first reaction upon hearing this song? "Boy, that's unique." Beirut-based Etyen's new single "Pon Malai" blends Tamil sounds with modern electronic beats for a combination that I can't say I've heard before. To the casual listener it might drag on a bit - and get perhaps a tad repetitive - but I think at the end of the day it's pretty darn gravy on the ear.
