Why do we like this?

My favorite Australian six-pack promised to scatter new music throughout 2015, and on the heels of their double A-side single, they keep to their word. I'm thrilled to share their newest single.

This song, bargaining with youth, is the second single off Fairchild’s sophomore EP “Sadako.”

I’ve drawn comparisons between Fairchild and Foals in the past, but not today. These Aussie emigrants appear to grow more confident in their own sound by the day. Adam Lyon's vocals, pour over those drums and that guitar, creating a noise to be reckoned with.

This song, while beautiful, fills me with heartache and longing. An impressive departure from their sunnier, louder tracks, I’m left even more intrigued by this blossoming band. I always want more.
