Why do we like this?

"Sparkles" is the latest track from Toronto noise rockers Fake Palms. Comprising members of Hooded Fang and Slim Twig, Fake Palms' blistering take on post-punk has caused the world-wide music-media to take notice.

Chock full of ferocious guitar work, crackling bass and pounding drums, "Sparkles" is another excellent tune from the four-piece. Michael le Riche's washed out vocals drift through the energetic melody, ending in a current of fuzzy noise and vocal distortion. 

The release of "Sparkles" coincides with the announcement of the band's self-titled full length debut LP, set for release on August 28 through Buzz Records.
