Why do we like this?
It's been a while since Norwegian singer-songwriter dropped any new music, but that's thankfully changed with the release of "New York."
Written and recorded earlier this year in JFK airport after Farida was stranded in New York due to a snowstorm, the tune is a soulful lo-fi collaboration with producer Undr. Farida keeps her vocals low in the mix during the first verse before her sultry tones rise above the chilled electronic beats for the latter half of the tune.
"New York" is another exciting release from the promising talent and hopefully means there will be a new full length project from Farida on the horizon.
