Fat White Family Feet

Fat White Family's new single "Feet" released earlier this month off the upcoming album Serfs Up has a sinister yet groovy undertone that propels the track forwards like a snake winding through long grass.

Lias Kaci Saoudi (the lead singer) strikes a medium between singing and talking throughout the verse, using an autotune filter occasionally that only enhances the eerie vibe of the track. The addition of strings lifts the intensity throughout, raising the hairs on your neck in their short outbursts during the chorus. The ghost like backing vocals that float around the verse add depth to the overall sound that creates an interesting dynamic with the snappy drum machine deployed in the chorus.

This new single is a must listen for any Fat White Family fans. Mixing sinister synthesizers with a groovy undertone, I know this is going to be a good album.
