Young Thug is riding a wave that doesn't look like breaking anytime soon. His third mixtape of the year and one of my favorite releases, JEFFERY (or No, My Name Is JEFFERY), is his most polished work yet, and he's followed that mixtape with "Turn Up," a track that will have you knocking back shots while you're busting your best moves at the club.
Thug teams with Felix Snow, who provides a sparse yet tropical-meets-Diplo beat similar to Justin Bieber's "Where Are You Now?" and absolutely murders it.
While it's been released as a new track, Thug fans may have heard "Turn Up" before, as it was used as the soundtrack to Thug's girlfriend Jerrika Karlae's swimwear line a few months.
While it might not be new, this official release is sure to please Thugger fans and keeps the rapper in the spotlight as we eagerly await his debut album.
