Why do we like this?

I like me some psychedelic pop, so I was actually quite excited when I started listening to Flaural's new single "Nonnie."

The track will no doubt remind people of Tame Impala, but there's plenty more cadence at work here. For one, it has a slightly faster tempo than many of the aforementioned band's work. The guitar work is also quite different, opting for a slightly more-surf-rock vibe (clean, minimal distortion).

There's obviously something good in the water over in Denver, because I'm digging what these guys are putting out.
