Maybe there's just a coincidence here, or maybe it's a trend, but this beat sounds a lot like the TNGHT track I posted last week. Already then it was odd how a trap beat had infiltrated the soft, smooth walls of Indie Shuffle, and now it's even more perplexing with the addition of "Levitate."
Does it signal personal growth on my part? Or a regression? To me it strikes a lot of the right chords for the almost four minutes of my life that it subsumes -- even if I am a bit quick to turn it down when I'm around other people for fear of seeming a bit too sadboi.
It's a bedroom jam of note. It's sort of new age Fall Out Boy -- not that I ever listened to Fall Out Boy. "Levitate" is something to flip out to and never tell your friends about.
