Why do we like this?

South London artist Flying Ibex returns with "Could Have Gone Your Way," the follow-up to their single "Away From My Mind."

Merging diverse influences to inform a unique sound, their latest release reconciles alt-psych with afro-beat. It feels a bit like Glass Animals coupled with twinkling synth melodies of Jungle.

It's an easy listen with a message that hits close to home for anyone familiar with uncertainty. Vocalist Barnaby Keen sings: "I don't know which way to turn cause we've been headed straight for so long now."

He seems oddly calm about it; a comforting sentiment in the search for direction. Keep an eye out for their forthcoming EP on Best Laid Plans Records.
