I don't know where you're reading this from, but I'm in the middle of a torrential downpour at the time of writing this. It couldn't have been more perfect timing because "Spider Song" is a track that really shines during intense, inclement weather.  The songs gently lets you into flyingfish's world with nice, clean guitaring and airy vocals. Then, suddenly, you get sucker punched with a wave of reverb and distortion, the special sauce for any Shoegaze fan. The heavy lyrics also add a ton a bricks to the already emotional instrumentation. Settle in, and let the storm of sounds take you.
