Why do we like this?

Seems like the whole Internet's already calling Freddie Gibbs & Madlib's latest collaboration the album of the year. No surprises there; producer Madlib has a magic touch. Tinymixtapes described it as an "elusive album that manages to transfix the listener in an almost narcotic state of rapt serenity." Spot on.

I'm mesmerized by track "Harold," with its soulful sample licking Freddie's grimy delivery. It's got a new music video, directed by Gregory Buissereth, that just came out, calling attention once again to the superb March release. Check below to see what I mean.
