Why do we like this?
I first heard Future Islands at Portland's Pickathon festival back in August. When Samuel T. Herring took the stage, I'll admit that I was hesitant to warm up to his distinct vocals. But by the end of their set, I was not only impressed, but hooked.
The Baltimore-based band recently released a full-length titled On The Water, and the single "Balance" featured here is a unique synth-pop jam that will get your blood flowing and your body moving.
