Why do we like this?

New York-based rapper G Two may have uprooted from Maryland to some new digs in Brooklyn, but don't think for a second he's forgotten his roots or mission.

"That Soul," featuring guest vocals from San Francisco singer / songwriter Siaira Shawn, is a conscious (and self-conscious) rap tune that, thanks in part to G Two's sharp wordplay and BadMonDonKnock's no-frill production, should fit nicely on a K.R.I.T. or J. Cole playlist.

"That Soul" will appear on G Two's forthcoming Neo Noir EP, out in November.
