English post-punk group Gang of Four is alive and well. It's been three years since the release of their album Content, but it looks like they're back in action with a brand new studio album coming out early next year.
To get fans reacquainted, they've unveiled a new track titled "Broken Talk." Featuring the hardened vocals of Alison Mosshart from the rock duo The Kills, the new track has everything that you would expect from the rock veterans.
Guitars are wiry and grungy, the bass has its distinct thump, and the percussion pounds with kind of intensity we've come to expect from the rockers. Along with new vocalist John "Gaoler" Sterry, Mosshart's vocals adds a new dimension to the group's sound making this solid collaboration from both artists.
Expect to hear more from the band and Mosshart when Gang of Four's new album What Happens Next is out on February 24, 2015 via Metropolis Records.
