Why do we like this?

Bay Area producer Garren might not be a staple in your future bass playlists yet, but don't let that stop you from getting down to his new single "Bout It."

The textures here are so engaging. From the waterfall of playful percussion to the icy synth lines, Garren takes all of four minutes to transform the dance floor into a glistening hotbed of sonic beauty.

"Bout It" appears on alaya's issue 02 compilation. Other featured artists include Dirty Chocolate, Blackbird Blackbird, and Flamingosis. While I vibe most with Garren's contribution, the whole release is worth a listen.
