"This World" is the first official release from production collective Gotts Street Park. The Leeds ensemble have worked with some of the UK's best up-and-coming talent over the past year (Kali Uchis, Mabel, Yellow Days, Rejjie Snow and Cosima) and are finally readying the release of their debut EP set to drop later this year.
As their press release states, Gotts Street Park are "Inspired by the philosophy and rawness of early soul and hip hop, they write, perform and record everything live in one room - in a house they share in Leeds - and collaborate with vocalists and MCs from all over the world who flock to the North."
Single "This World" has an old school hip-hop vibe to it, with London rapper Benny Mails spitting quick fire rhymes over the NY style beats. "This World" is both moody and vibrant, and is an exciting first listen from one of the UK's most exciting production crews.
