Gypsy & the Cat's sophomore album The Late Blue is due out later this year, and we've already featured its first two singles ("Bloom" and "Sorry") as SOTD... which means that the Melbourne band have now completed the hat-trick with their delightful new track, "Only in December..This song has taken them in a slightly different direction from the dream-pop vibe of their first album, 2010's Gilgamesh. As you've likely noticed on their latest tracks, there's a shift towards a slightly more eclectic, bohemian sound "“ possibly picked up during their globetrotting over the past couple of years."Only in December" does not differ from this new style, once again solidifying them as one of the finest purveyors of pop around.
