Why do we like this?
I first fell for Harry Nathan when he released a song back in 2020 called "Harriet Tubman." He managed to catch me during the infancy of my love affair with lofi house, and that single still stands out as one of my favorites within the genre.
Naturally such a solid start means that every subsequent single the Australian producer releases piques my interest. And more often than not, they're not a letdown.
Case in point: "So Real," a fairly chilled but still quintessential lofi house track that manages to tick every box in my book. When the song was pitched to me it was described as "cruisy," and I've got to say that word manages to sum it up in a lovely way.
