Kiah Victoria Hollow

I remember in the UK when the likes of India Arie would be spun in the summertime, when school was out and the backyards (or parks) were full of groups of people chilling to the best soulful R&B out there. Seems like with New Yorks' Kiah Victoria, she's nailed that east coast spirit with throwback vibes. 

Despite being written in the wake of the Paris attacks the message is about embracing the now and living the best way you can. There's a lot of focus on R&B at the moment, but there's one thing to say for the genre is that it nails the idea of music + mood. With her EP Everybody dropping next month, it'll be a welcome addition to my playlist if they have the style and grace like this taster track.
