Why do we like this?

Hot Moms Club is Eliza Vera's world of indie nap rock that you won't want to wake up from. Along with her tour down the West coast, Vera is introducing herself to new audiences namely with the single "DD."


DD feels like cotton-candy colored clouds, the type of night when you're driving home and put your hand out the window to feel the cool air. On an Instagram story, she admits that she accidentally recorded the song as "dedicated" rather than designated driver, adding another layer of meaning to the song. Accented guitar chords bring a bit of excitement to the overall production, bringing it out of acoustic coffee shop music territory.
