Why do we like this?

Hey Humans. Coincidentally, I don't know anything 'bout chu either. I'm a bit ashamed of this fact because the Canadian electronic duo has been around since 2009. That being said, I like what I'm hearing. 

Since the March 4 release of their EP Water Water, musicians Robbie Slade and Peter Ricq have been causing quite a buzz all over the interwebs. They also performed three events at SXSW this past weekend, giving me yet another reason to be jealous that I couldn't attend. 

"Bout Chu" is tame and measured, constructed with subdued elements methodically mixed into a whirlpool of sound. Balmy vocals phase in and out as the precise percussive progression drives the track forward. 

If you missed them at SXSW, fear not. The duo will be on tour into the summer.
