Why do we like this?

Hong Kong-born producer, Ian Chang, who you may know as the incredible and versatile drummer from Son Lux, has digitally released his first full length album called 属 Belonging. The physical form of the album will drop May 29, 2020, via City Slang Records.

Kiah Victoria is in charge of vocals in this track and she does a superb job. Acquaintances for ten years but never having work together, Kiah reached out to Ian for a remix of a song, “Valet." Right after that, he started working on “Comfort Me” and realized that she would be amazing in it.

This was his last single out before releasing the album, and I think it’s quite nice. Written almost in response to Ian having freshly moved to Dallas with his partner, the song talks about isolation and being far from the people we know. Still, according to Mr. Chang himself, this is one of the most collaborative songs in the album.
