Why do we like this?

I saw this track pop up on the net with an explicit comparison to "trip-hop." For some reason or another, that bothered me. Maybe it's because I recently saw The xx's "Intro" hit the top of reddit.com/r/music with a trip-hop flag? (Clearly The xx is not trip-hop).

Either way, I'm here to dispel that rumor. I'll's new single isn't trip-hop. It's just damned awesome, easy electronic listening. If anything, it falls into the genre "radiohead' (yes, I'm using that as a genre), which is a damned good genre to fall into.
