Sounds like: Oscar Key Sung, Thrupence
Why do we like this?

For an act that formed in 2011 with only a handful of releases to date, Melbourne experimental trio I’lls (pronounced ‘Isles’) has their growing, discerning, and expectant fan base waiting on their every move. They are on the verge of releasing a new EP and I’m happy to report this is our first look into it.

It’s exciting stuff already. The title of this track "Let Me Just Have One" is highly suggestive of desire and a longing -- possibly for something just of out one's reach. With that reference in mind, they totally pull it off via pitched-up vocals, mood-inducing synthesizers, and shifting of beat and bass.

I'lls is masterful at producing cohesive, minimal, and interesting electronica. Expect even more when their new EP called Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country drops on July 6. You can grab your digital and vinyl pre-order here.
