Why do we like this?

Top Dawg Entertainment is proving to be the most consistent label in modern day hip-hop. Home to the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, and SZA, they are yet to release a dud project, with 2016 set to be the label's biggest year yet.

Not only do big names Schoolboy, SZA, and Ab-Soul have albums on the way, but the most underrated name on the roster, Isaiah Rashad, is finally going to release his long-awaited debut.

Rashad is a highly talented MC whose thought provoking lyrics match his versatile flow. All are evident on "Smile," his first taste of new music in months. The track's soulful beat provides the canvas for Rashad to paint the picture of returning to his roots to find people aren't as happy as they want you to believe. 

Personal as ever, Rashad knocks this one out the park.
