Jack Symes

I know there are a lot of folks out there who are on the Mac DeMarco train, and I reckon those are just the target audience for Jack Symes' new single "Cool God." The Berekely-based singer-songwriter has a few releases under his belt, but has yet to release a complete album. That'll all change in 2019, when Songs for Moms hits records stores near and far (okay, if not record stores, at least it'll be streaming all over the place). "Cool God" has an easy-going tempo that puts me in a relaxed mood every time I listen. I reckon it's the perfect vibe for Cape Town's impending summer.
