Why do we like this?

James Supercave seems to have taken a bit of inspiration from Danger Mouse (albeit perhaps not intentionally), because that opening bass riff sounds a whole lot like Broken Bells.

That ain't a bad thing. I dig Broken Bells, so naturally I decided to give this song a longer listen. And boy, was I glad I did! Not only is it creative and original -- it also demonstrates some serious talent.

"Burn" is the latest single off the LA-based band's upcoming debut album Better Strange, due for release on February 12th. Grab it here.
