Why do we like this?
I've always said that the sound of summer is house, but a part of me is changing my mind. I'm realizing that jazz music might be the true summer sound. Just check out this Skream track I posted a little while back, for instance.

I'm telling you all this because it looks like I've found the perfect solution! That solution is Japanese producer Jazztronik. The music he makes blurs the distinctions between jazz and house -- not an entirely new concept, but the way he does it is.

Sure, you could dance to this one if you wanted to, but the general overtone is definitely more jazzy, with the drum section coming from a house background. Therefore, this doesn't feel like something you'd expect to hear in a club aiming for sophistication, but a genuine jazz track with some more modern influences.

At eight and a half minutes long, this is one you can really get lost in. So listen to this then Skream for 15 minutes of cool relaxation in the heat of the summer. And if you want more, there's always this summer playlist I put together.
