Why do we like this?

Jerry Folk has been on the quiet side the last few months. Not anymore!

I'm happy to announce that on this Indie Shuffle exclusive premiere he's back with a brand new original release called "To My Soul."

It's superbly done, with chopped up synth layers and a slightly slower tempo that you don't even notice because it still really hits. I like the addition of the word "soul" in the lyrics and title -- it cements this track nicely under the umbrella genre of "electronic soul."

Jerry comes from Norway and most of us have already rightly added him to the list of supremely talented electronic artists coming out of that part of the world. Jerry is poised for big things in 2016 with his first-ever US show slated for the Folsom in San Francisco this week on Friday January 15.
