Why do we like this?

A week ahead of his hotly anticipated new album, Joey Bada$$ has teamed up with Top Dawg Entertainment's ScHoolboy Q for new single "Rockabye Baby."

Like predecessors "Land of the Free" and "Devastated", "Rockabye Baby" is another provocative, finger-pointing indicator that his upcoming album, All AmeriKKKan Bada$$, will be squarely focused on race and politics. 

The track opens on a snarling piano instrumental, with haunted, bouncy licks growing more possessed as the verses intensify.

Joey continues to refine and strengthen his flow, his rhymes fitting into each groove like a glove. He and Q are close friends, having toured the world together last year, and their complementary chemistry is obvious and natural.

All AmeriKKKan Bada$$ comes out next Friday, April 7. Alongside ScHoolboy Q, J Cole, Styles P and Meechy Darko (Flatbush Zombies) will feature among others.
