Why do we like this?
Johnny Astro caught a lot of people off guard earlier this month with "The SkyWalkers," an alternative hip-hop track that featured a beautiful Coldplay sample and some seriously thoughtful verses. Well, it is with great joy that I bring you fine-ass Shufflers the exclusive premiere of Astro's latest, "Skydreams."
"Skydreams" has that good wordplay, reverb and bass that has come to define Astro's sound. It also features some beautiful string work and a top-notch intro from The Notorious B.I.G. All in all, I am really feeling this tune. In a day and age overrun with bedroom emcees and producers, I stand behind Johnny Astro.
If you're a fan, be sure to show some love. Also, get comfortable. This bandwagon may get pretty crowded.
