Why do we like this?

This song is important and worth listening to, but first maybe give the video a look/listen.

Okay, now that you've done that, here's what's up. Jon Hopkins is actually playing a set tonight in New York City at Le Poisson Rouge. That's right. It's close, centrally located, and intimate. You should go because, well, if you watched the video, it'll probably be like that in your head but also in front of your eyes, too.

For those of you unfamiliar with this lad, Jon Hopkins is an English electronic music producer. His beats are spacey and collide into one another swiftly with ease. Musically, Hopkins produces a sound that is timeless and fits right in with the genres greats (think: Moby, Brian Eno)

After the release of Immunity in 2013, Hopkins reminds us to let go and enjoy the ride. There's no telling where it will take us, and there's no point in figuring out where it does.
