Why do we like this?

Jon Waltz is a Memphis-bred hip-hop artist who deserves some time in your rotation.

This fresh-of-the-press single via the Penthouse Music-repping rapper titled "Video Girl" is gritty yet smooth, holding a vibe that is gives off a blend of influences. I'm hearing some Chance, some Drake, a bit of KYLE, and part Skizzy Mars -- who happens to be captain of the Penthouse team.

Good to see this up-and-comer getting some recognition. This track was officially released on Hypetrak and now owns an eternal place on Indie Shuffle. Not too bad in today's day and age.
