Why do we like this?

Jorja Smith is one of the world's most underrated talents and she continues to prove her greatness with this sublime cover of St. Germain's iconic, "Rose Rouge."

The track is taken from the forthcoming compilation album, Blue Note Re:imagined, an album consisting of classic recordings from the label, Blue Note, and its artists covered by contemporary singers and songwriters.

Smith's take on St. Germain's hit single is a stunning reworking of an already incredible song, fusing elements of jazz, pop and soul throughout the track. It works as both a homage and a fresh version of the song, with Smith's soulful vocals complimenting the jazzy instrumentation.

Blue Note Re:imagined is set for release September 25.
