My favorite place in the world is Manhattan Beach in LA. Actually, it's driving to and into Manhattan Beach. It's so picturesque; so beautiful.
To be candid, I may never visit LA again because of some issues that arose while I was living out there in 2015. It sucks because I'm never going to forget that golden town.
Anyway, this song, "Bobbi Champagne," by Julian Taylor Band reminds me of that entire place; Manhattan Beach and LA.
The lyrics, the vibe, the mood, the pace are how I remember it every time I look back at my times there. Walking down from The Griddle on Sunset Boulevard towards the Mondrian from a long night of partying at someone's house in the hills. Sipping cocktails, poolside as watching the sun set again under perfectly blue skies.
I guess I relate LA to an old love I'll never forget too. Driving a lime green buggy to Malibu. Rolling hills, perfect smile, flowing like the wind.
