Injecting grime, supporting the sound of the underground, and keeping it 100, Julius Jetson returns to us in 2017 with his first release of the year, "Can't Roll With Us."
The young tastemaker and producer has laid a solid foundation for himself with his g-house leaning productions in the past, but "Can't Roll With Us" features the most restraint. Focus in this release is the key ingredient opting to put faith in a consistent groove instead of proving what he can do without Adderall. That's not to say Jetson's catalog up to this point hasn't been quality, "jack your body" house, but his most recent effort shows he has the sense to keep some tension up his sleeve.
With gritty basslines, sharp percussion, and a sense of urgency, "Can't Roll With Us" is the after hours banger we knew Jetson was capable of, but never anticipated.
