This track comes from a new project that Justin Jay put together with his friends, hence the new title Justin Jay & Friends. But it's more than that, as any music creation is more than just the music, this project is an exploration into many different tastes and genres; combining the interests of many musicians and attempting a sound that is altogether new.
Along with breaking new ground on the creative side of things, the plan of release for this project is something new, too. It will be broken up throughout many different EPs, all released on different labels to reflect just how very different one song will sound from the next. But not to worry Justin Jay fans, he assures us that all the songs will be suitable to mix in with his dirty birdy house sets.
Of course, there is quite a lot of indie dance and pop house that you could compare this first single "Weatherman" too, but it would be a very general blanket. It is, I believe, something quite different and special. Take a listen and enjoy!
