Why do we like this?

I've been a big fan of Kaleida since I heard their first track, "Tropea," way back in 2013. Since then, the duo (Cicely Goulder and Christina Wood) has been slowly building towards their first release, which will drop April 6.

"Ruby" is the first taste from their debut EP, Think, and if it's anything to go by, the EP is going to be a good one. Steeped in 80s synth vibes and titanium percussion, "Ruby" floats between dreamy electronica and powerful pop.

Goulder's dynamic production -- combined with Wood's spectacular vocals -- forms the basis of Kaleida. On this track, the pair's strong grasp of modern pop music is on full display. This is one tune you'll have on repeat all week.
