Why do we like this?

Okay so fans of Kap Slap will know this track has been around for a couple of weeks. I've been sitting on it a bit waiting the full version to go up on SoundCloud.

Kap Slap is Jared Lucas, known primarily as the "king of mashups," and now he's branching out with more original work. "Felt This Good" is his first original release for 2016. He's doing something right because this release is out via electronic big guns, Ultra Music.

Kap Slap likens his sound more towards an revamping of that tried and true genre we know as progressive house. He's attempting to stand out a little from the flooded EDM-infused pop that's everywhere. I say that's a good thing! I'll be waiting to see what else he can do inside that space.
