Why do we like this?
Flip to Channel 5 (1970)
A throwback soft-folk ballad that not only feels like a time capsule but also altogether new.
Kate Bollinger designs a timeless track that sells itself like a 60's pop advert and I'm buying 100% of it. It's soft, it's folky and it's all together strange. What I love most of all is how it is an almost-complete homage to the home video era and yet sounds completely fresh at the same time.
Paisley dresses, lemonade, and balloon sunglasses - it's all here and it's oh so refreshing.
