Why do we like this?

Kendrick Lamar returns with "i," an upbeat, soul-sampling introspective number that takes a slightly different direction than anything on good kid, m.A.A.d. city.

Produced by Rahki and based around the booty shaking "Who's That Lady" by The Isley Brothers," this is one of Lamar's most positive tracks, as reflected in the lyrics.

The message is simple; the world might be a scary place, but if you love yourself, you can learn to love the world around you -- something that resonates with the current climate.

It's safe to say Lamar has nailed it with "i," and if anticipation for his next album wasn't already high, it'll be through the roof now.
