Why do we like this?

Moss Kena likely has a busy inbox right now. Hell, I emailed him like 10 minutes ago; told him I dug his tune because, well, I dig this fucking tune.

Reworking a Kendrick Lamar song this year or last is the 2012 equivalent of remixing Lana Del Ray. Do a shit job, and no one really notices. Do a good job, and you may end up on Zane Lowe's radio show like Kena did one day after the rework dropped on YouTube.

Something tells me this creative, soulful take on Lamar's "These Walls" is no fluke. I wonder if an original cut is in Kena's near future.
