Why do we like this?

Japanese jazz/rock music continues to rub the furry carpet that is my internal pleasure sensor the right way. Like one of those cheap blankets that start off feeling like the inside of an unwashed sweatshirt.

There will likely be a stage in this relationship where I'll choose to pack away my sweater and replace it with another. There it will sit in the back of my closet, waiting until I'm ready to wear it again.

By that stage I'll readily embrace it with a profound sense of nostalgia. But for now I'm still digging what I'm hearing, and there are lots of places to find great new music from the Island of Japan. Hopefully Indie Shuffle will increasingly become one of those.
