Why do we like this?

Most of the lyrics in this song wander past me, I have not the foggiest clue what they mean bar for when Grobe lets out a sneaky "downtown" -- that is English.

You know what, this might actually be my first German-speaking song post on Indie Shuffle. Actually, I'm pretty certain "Downtown" has snatched my Kraut-disco Indie Shuffle virginity and, as you can imagine, I'm quite excited, but also nervous. There are so many flavors of Euro-disco that I haven't experienced.

Klaus Johann Grobe are from Switzerland, like my aunt. Which means I have to show them love, even if they're sometimes being kinda disagreeable.

Anyways, I found this band on The Bright Light Social Hour's wonderful Here Comes The Sun King playlist.
