Why do we like this?

For some reason or the other, I was expecting to find my ears slightly jarred by La Roux's new single "Let Me Down." The good news is that I couldn't have been more wrong: this is super pleasant for the ears. Perhaps too pleasant.

"Let Me Down Gently" comes off the duo's upcoming sophomore studio album Trouble In Paradise, due on July 7th.

As alluded, there's something about this song that is just a bit too safe. Granted, that might be exactly what people want to hear.
