Why do we like this?

I was definitely alive in the year 2000, but I certainly wasn't hip to the best new music out there. And clearly Lamchop's album Nixon totally passed me by. At the time it was a breakthrough album -- both critically and commercially -- putting th eUK-based band on the map.

With all that success, it's remarkable that today was the first time that I heard the Nashville band's song "Up With The People." But thanks to a re-issue coming out via Merge Records, this one's up front and center.
