Why do we like this?
The creeping "West Coast" is one of my favorite tracks from Lana Del Rey's sophomore album, so I was intrigued to hear that electro pop duo YNGCULT had decided to tackle the track.
While LDR manages to create a brooding pop ballad centered around a driving guitar lick, YNGCULT has added extra percussion and a pounding bass line to transform this into a club banger.
Then there's the male vocals. While unusual at first, they don't detract from what is a great cover.
