Why do we like this?

"Perfection" is the word I would use for this next song you're about to listen to. "Perfection" is the word I'd use to describe the artist on this as well.

Hailing from Bogota, Colombia, Lao Ra is here to kick some booty.

This song features badass vocals with a twang. I love it when artists remain true to themselves and where they come from. It's okay not to have perfect diction on English lyrics. In fact, I personally can't stand when Swedish or Australian artists sound just like an American artist.

Anyway, we don't get that problem here with Lao Ra. You know immediately that she's not from around any of our parts. In fact, at the beginning of this she belts it out "I come from a different place."

"Bang Boom" features excellent production. If you like M.I.A. or Santigold (who doesn't?) then you will most definitely love Lao Ra.

Think a Major Lazer collaboration with one of those other two badass bitches, and this is what you get here.

There's a killer horn section that ends way too soon, and at three minutes, exactly, so does the tune.
