Why do we like this?

It's always fun to see a song that I premiered get the remix treatment, particularly when those behind the wheel are Magic Man.

Last Lynx's "None Of My Friends" was released back in October, so the ~2 month gap since then makes for a friendly reminder of a song that's now buried behind ~300 newer songs in our archives.

Magic Man's take on the song puts it under a minimal, dark spotlight that reminds me a touch of Sir Sly and/or Pacific Air. Given that I'd never have made that comparison for the original song, it's an impressive testament to their ability to totally change the tone.
