Legwurk

Still Woozy meets Sufjan Stevens. Seriously though, for a second I thought it was actually good ol' Sufjan singing when I first heard those breathy, half-whisper vocals.Alas, Legwurk is the project of Tani (last name unknown), who is actually a member of Still Woozy's live band. That connection explains a lot of the sonic similarities to Still Woozy within Legwurk's music (Sonic Similarities would be a great album name, btw). This track reminds me a lot of Still Woozy's earlier tracks, such as "Goodie Bag" and "Cooks," which caught the hearts and attention of so many indie music fans.Despite all the similarities, however, "Home" is a very enjoyable listen and hopefully just an appetizer for things to come from Legwurk.
